Browse Internet in offices where only email facility is provided, Thanks to Web To Mail service

web2mail3 There may be scenarios where you are not authorized to access internet for purposes other than email checking. In that case if you want to have a look on some web pages then use the web page email service from Web To Mail.

The process is very simple and you will get the text mail in your inbox containing the contents of the requested page. Here is the process,

Let say I have to get “Internet Techies” home page to my mailbox, in that case I sent a mail to “send@webtomail.co.cc” with the subject as “http://www.clickonf5.org”. Below is the screenshot of that mail,

web2mail1That’s it. Now I got a reply from “Web To Mail” which was containing the front page of Internet Techies. I attached below the screenshot of the received mail which is containing the text from the requested page (i.e. Internet Techies).

You can request any web page to browse or have a look. Limitation with this service is that if you click on any link provided in the mail then again you need the Internet browsing facility. So if you want a link or a single post from a blog or website then send the mail again with the subject as “permalink” for the required post.

Enjoy the browsing (restricted one) at work.

Please let us know your feedback thru comments and also go for the RSS feed of Internet Techies to get the updates in your mailbox.
