Bing: An IP Address Neighbour Finder

Most of the websites or blogs are hosted on shared IP i.e. sharing a common server. If you want to know the list of websites or blogs which are hosted on the same server then no need to explore other IP neighbour finder, just try Bing.

Bing is having the feature to show list of websites hosted on the same server. First of all you will have to find out the IP address of the domain for which you have to look at the neighbours. There are many ways to get the IP address. Below are some of the simplest ways to do that,

Use Tools Available on Internet

There are lot many tools available on Internet to find out the details related to a domain name. Some of them are really good for other purposes like SEO analysis and Domain validity as well. Most used tool for this purpose is Whois.domaintool

I tried for the domain name www.clickonf5.org and found the below result. It shows that the IP address for clickong5.org is 74.220.215.68

Use cmd Command On Your PC

If you are a networking guy then you should know the command “Ping” for checking whether your network system is working fine or not. Use the same command to get the IP address of a domain name. I did the same for www.clickong5.org to get its domain name and again I got the same number as 74.220.215.68

i think that Bing is not as good as Google. Google would still index new websites faster than Bing. Microsoft would still need a lot of catching to do with GoogleBot.

Love this feature! Google is still on top, but no other major search engine has this nice little thing :).
