Don’t click on your own blog’s Adsense, may affect the CTR

at that When you are testing the layout of your own blog or website which is having Google Adsense code, at that time you are loading your page many times and requesting for ads thru google at the same time. As google is not aware that you are testing your site, so that will be counted as a fresh page load but from the same IP. That will affect the CTR or your Adsense account.

Even if you do the same for many times, Google might penalize your account for click-fraud. To avoid these things for your blog, follow the below precautionary measures:

  • Remove the Google Adsense code from your blog at the time of testing
  • Add another line to Google Adsense code google_adtest = “on”;
  • Modify the value of google_ad_client to something like “pub-googleIamTesting”
  • Instead of Adsense code, use static image of the google ad to check the layout.

Otherwise contact Adsense Team with your query.
