Mangalore AI Plane Crash Pictures on Twitter [PICS]

Early morning today at 6:30 AM, Air India (AI) Boeing 737 crashed at Mangalore Airport. Flight was coming from Dubai to Mangalore and most of the people from Kerala and Southern part of India was boarded on that. This incident left 158 dead out of total 166 people on board. As per the initial reports, it seems that the accident happened because of the shorter run way and AI plane overshoot run way by about 2000 ft. As the Mangalore Airport is situated in the country side of the town and some forest area is near to the Airport, the AI plane went into the forest area and a huge blast happened over there with fire and ashes through out the plane.

  • I have no words to describe how I felt when upon seeing these images. And when I read your comment and found out that most of them who died were poor and only source of bread for the family – my heart broke… What about the family who were coming for their wedding anniversary. I am a Sri Lankan and the dead are Indians.

    But empathy, compassion and love for others doesn’t have borders or ethnic/nationality differences…

    It was not the mistake of Pilot or anybody this painful and dangerous time was written for all the passengers.May GOD bless all the dead one’s and their family members.
    The most heartbreaking thing is that their were 12 children+2 infants.Really very sad.
