Use Google Instant to get search results as you type

Google has improved its technology to provide search results as you type in the search box. Google Instant is now available on the search home page where you can see bigger search box and once you will start typing “keyword”, you can see search results as you type. Currently Google Instant is rolling-out on Google US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia.This new technology definitely reduce the search time for each query.

Benefits of Google Instant Search

1. It takes less time to get search result for each query

2. You can get results for a query when it is partially typed

3. If you internet connection is very slow, Google Instant will automatically tuned off and you will get normal google search page

Currently Google is testing this technology and will plan to roll out for other countries domain as well in future.

How to turn-off Google Instant

If you are not feeling comfortable using this new search technique. You can turn off “Google Instant” on your browser by clicking on the “Instant is OFF” option available beside the search box.

Compatibility with browsers

Google Instant works properly on Google Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac and Internet Explorer v8. Currently Google Instant is not available for mobile phones but expected to come very soon.

    for those of you who cant use google instant (not yet activated in their country domains) , just go to http://www.google.com/ncr – try it out… :)
