  • I am using Flickr Pro, best option if you have tons of pics n videos

  • great post!!

Have you used Amazon S3? I know in the past it had much promise but a number of limitations.

    What is your opinion?

  • I have been looking at different types of online storage for a while now. I didn’t know about the Microsoft Skydrive. I am going to see if I can get one via my current account. Is it free? I will also have a look at the prices for the Amazon S3. I would like somewhere to store my music files as well so I will need some space.

  • Did you try Smugmug? That’s really the best option. Check the features.

  • Hi Roger,
there is, almost, no limitations with Amazon S3. They can handle file up to 5TB, that’s enough for a picture or video 😉
You can google and find several free (other paid) applications that synchronize some folder in your PC with a bucket at S3, others that backup your folders to a S3 bucket and others that simply add a network drive that, actually, writes directly in a S3 bucket.

    Hope this helped you out.

    Cheers,
    Enrique
