I have completed my Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, but fortunately got an opportunity to work in the fields of computer and programming. I was working for CapGemini, India for more than four long years and always enjoyed some challenging development tasks. I was immensely attracted towards web applications and the development going all around the globe. So, though my official work mainly focussed on technologies like mainframes, I still wanted to join the web community. I am grateful to Sanjeev as I got chance to work with him for Internet Techies and contribute with some of my miniature works to the Internet community.

I am currently working on PHP and WordPress. So, now you would find some WordPress plugins and articles from me on Internet Techies. Your suggestions and involvement are always welcome as we do need them to improve the quality of posts and resources that we would provide on Internet Techies.

Thanks for a great plugin with Smooth Slider. I would simply like to add my voice to those who are asking for a “fade” effect! If there is a way to do it on my own I’d be happy to do it but I would need some guidance.

Hi Tejaswini, great great great plugin. Love it. I have two question. Am I able to embed Video into the slide? That would be fantastic if I can.

Secondly, I saw somewhere you mentioned that the slide would be able to Fade In Fade out too. But I don’t see that option anywhere. Did that not come to fruition? Thanks a lot and keep up the great work.

Yes you can put the video in slider, I tried with YouTube video.

Regarding the fade effect, I am in process of implementing the effect, you will see it in a few days. Just was busy with ‘Related Posts Slider’

Thanks Tejaswini. I tried embedding that way with YouTube, it didn’t work. How are you doing it then? Did you have to install a player or something? Nothing has worked for me.

I can’t wait for the Fade In Fade Out. Will we see a notification of an update/upgrade? Awesome Awesome.

Your slider is the best I’ve come across thus far. So easy to use and you give excellent directions when telling people how to do the install and settings. Love it. Namaste.

Oh one thing I do think would be nice are dots without numbers that can be styled below the slider, hopefully in the new update you are giving people the option. As a designer I just love that feature the best.
