Few days ago, there were news of Delicious shutting down as Yahoo was not sure of keeping that with them. We talked about taking backup of Delicious tags and bookmarks, and now Google is allowing to import Delicious bookmarks and tags on Google Bookmarks.
As there are talks going on about breakup of Yahoo and Delicious and even there is rumor of Delicious shutting down. If you are worried about your precious bookmarks, then go ahead and take backup of current Delicious bookmarks and download and save that on your local computer. Even import them in local browser.
Sometimes you need to export a single post or some limited number of posts from one of your WordPress site and import it to another WordPress site. This may be required may be, for example when
1) You have some good article or post written on localhost when you were offline and now you wish to export only that article to your live WordPress blog. You do not want to export all the posts like some test posts or some other sample posts, you just need that particular post which you had written for your live site.
2) In case, you own two WordPress blogs, and you think that a published article on one blog actually suits the niche of your other blog and it would perform good there. So now you wish to move this article or may be few more articles from one blog to other. But you definitely do not want all of the former blog’s posts.
Steve Jobs announced iOS 4 in WWDC Conference in San Francisco and now pre-release of iOS 4 firmware to developers reveals that Apple iOS 4 is going to have an option to export videos to Facebook. Right now the available export options are “Email”, “MMS”, “YouTube” and MobileMe. But thru iOS 4, users will be able to export videos to their Facebook account using their iPhone.
Couple of weeks ago, Google added an option to export documents from Google Docs. Now they have added “Export All” feature thru which you can export all your documents on Google docs on single click.
