Twitter Down Again – Service Temporarily Unavailable

Twitter was hacked by some Iranian Cyber Army and after sometime they resumed the service. Twitter status service was resumed first and the message appeared as below:

We are working to recovery from an unplanned downtime and will update more as we learn the cause of this outage.

Update (11:28p): Twitter’s DNS records were temporarily compromised but have now been fixed. We are looking into the underlying cause and will update with more information soon.

But again the service is not available. The error message is appearing as below:

Error Message: Service Temporarily Unavailable

That means twitter team is still struggling with the service resumption. As reported by Twitter, this issue was because of third party DNS compromise.

Don’t worry much if you are getting the above message on twitter as Twitter team is still working on the security issues and taking extra precautions for future.
