Libya is seeing the biggest protest and critical situation where more than 100 people are already killed in the violence. The protest is againstĀ  Col Muammar Gaddafi’s 42-year rule. Media is totally restricted in the area and as per few reports, websites like Facebook and Al-Jazeera Arabic are blocked (read how to access blocked sites). But on Internet, there are lot many sources to share information and one of them is the micro blogging site Twitter. Now based on the verified tweets, a Google Maps visualization is created where you can see the important figures and reports related to Libya Protest.

On this Google Maps visualization, you can click on the different icons and read the related information on the maps itself. This detailed visualization is created on the basis of tweets taken from verified accounts. This Google Maps page is covering reports from Tripoli, Benghazi, Al Beida and other parts of Libya. You can also find the airports and recent violence near by that.
