Microsoft Windows 7 is a really awesome product after the miserable Vista. There were rumors on web since last few days about the Service Pack 1 ( SP1) RTM and now it is available for everyone to download. Initially it was released for MSDN and TechNet customers but now everyone can download the Windows 7 SP1.
Windows 7 SP1 is having few security updates, stability updates, RemoteFX for improved 3-D graphical experience. It will also have the updates released for Windows 7 after the final release.
As per few reports, Microsoft already started working on Windows 7 SP2 which is expected to have 132 updates for X86 system and 171 updates for X64 system.
Anyway folks, if you want to download the Windows 7 SP1 RTM [KB976932] which is available for free to download from Microsoft Download Center.
