Facebook has launched vanity URL option for Facebook users thru which one can create a username as per his requirement and get the profile URL with the same. Facebook will suggest you some usernames or you can pick as per your choice.
There are certain eligibility criterion for getting the username. First of all you should have the facebook account created before 3 p.m. (EDT) on June 9, 2009 (i.e. the day when usernames were publicly announced). Facebook came up with this limitation because people will reserving the usernames and that’s why it will not be available for regular users.
