We do check our emails regularly but now a days we need to check more that email for being up to date. Social media updates from Twitter, Facebook etc and then latest updates from favorite blogs thru RSS feeds and many more things needs to be checked on regular basis. To do that we need to login to different places to check their updates. That’s why Mozilla Labs is bringing a single destination inbox for every type of communication or updates, named Raindrop.

Mozilla Labs Raindrop is a customizable platform to get all the communications and updates on single place. One can use Raindrop for Twitter updates, Facebook, RSS Feeds reader, email client, Instant Messaging services etc. This product is still in development phase and currently one can install and test the code by following the procedure available on Mozilla Wiki for Raindrop.
According to Raindrop release note,
A central principle behind Raindrop is that messaging should be personal — we want Raindrop to be people-centric both in how we process messages, and in how we can help give people control over their personal data and experiences.
