One day my friend Harry came to me with a new product on his laptop: A new style XP with a wallpaper changer. He was surprised by the look of his desktop but he did not know
that a real movie has to start after that.
I checked the task manager of his windows where you can actually see the memory allocation to each tasks or application running on system. The style XP and wallpaper changer was exhausting the memory of the system. I tried to know what happens when we install style XP or wallpaper changer on our system. It actually tweaks the registry of the windows and reflects the changes to us. It adds its own images into the system files and then starts using the different resources of our system.
Everyone wants to get a new look on his system; personally I think we should settle down with the followings:
1) Change the themes and wallpaper from display properties/Themes or Desktop
2) Change the font size and style from display properties/appearance
3) Go for Microsoft windows vista as it is having a good look and feel
My advice is always check the memory utilization in the Task Manager/Processes section of the windows after the installation of this kind of application.
Screenshot of the Task manager where you can see the memory allocation for each task.
Because only stable systems can produce stable results.
Thanks you.
