There lot many ways to convert the word doc into PDF but if you have purchased Adobe or having Adobe Element / Acrobat stored on your PC then go ahead and print the doc into PDF. After the installation Adobe Element (comes with CS3), go ahead and press CTRL + P on your computer to print the document.
Now you will have Print Window where you can choose from different Printers. Choose Adobe Print from there and then click on OK to print the documents as PDF. That will save the document as PDF on your local computer. You may change the size and layout of the print by selecting different sizes from the Adobe Settings Page. To change the layout, just click on Properties on Print Window and then go ahead and change the layout from the “Adobe PDF Page Size option” box.
Click on Print to save the documents as PDF.
