Branding is the key for creating a community around your blog and then you get a bunch of traffic towards that. Favicon is a part of branding of a blog or website which helps the blogger to make an impression on visitors. Favicon is an icon (.ICO) which is used beside the title of the webpage for unique presence. is a free online service for creating nice favicons within 5 minutes. They provide a canvas to draw an image over there with the help of a Pen and Eraser. Drawing image on that canvas is very simple because you only need to fill colors in small boxes and those boxes will create a favicon.

faviconYou can add some animations over there, for example moving flag of your country, a fish, speedometer etc in your favicon, but that is not recommended because that may irritate your viewer. Go for still image without any issue. Once you are complete with the design on the canvas, you can see the preview of the same on a demo bar which is provided at the bottom of the page.
