WordPress has added a new feature to take control on WordPress.com blog by sending text messages on a number 77377 (PRESS). In case you are out of your 3G network range, you can still control your WordPress.com blog by moderating comments, and getting other important notifications. WordPress is giving this service in 2 variants. One is as free service and the other is paid.
In Free service, you can get notifications on your mobile phone on theme change, privacy information change and in case of user addition or removal. And the paid service includes Login Authentication, Comments notification and moderation capability, notification on published posts and capability to post a new article right from your mobile text message box.
Important: This SMS service is only available in USA. Charges for sending Text messages will be as standard charges.

To enable this Service by WordPress, you will have to go to the WordPress.com dashboard and from there you can add “Text messages” service from “Upgrade” link. The paid service is for $20 per year.
